Life presents challenges that impact many of the areas in our lives – emotional health, relationships and quality of life.  Most of the time, we are able to meet these challenges through our own strengths and resources however there are times when confronting a challenge require professional assistance.

Counseling can provide individuals and families with guidance, education, assistance, and direction in resolving problems and developing new skills in a safe and supportive environment.   Clients have the opportunity to gain tools, techniques, and knowledge that will help them to gain emotional well-being, healthy relationships and improved quality of life, now and in the future.

What you can expect from the therapist:

An approach that is tailored to an individual or family’s unique needs, strengths and values.

Assistance with developing insight into problems and the skills needed to manage or resolve them. 

Services based on extensive training, knowledge and experience.

Understanding of and supports for your Christian beliefs and values in the therapeutic relationship. 

A first session available within 48 hours and crisis counseling available between scheduled sessions.

I in 5 children and 1 in 4 adults have a diagnosable mental, emotional or behavioral disorder that may interfere with their family life, their ability to learn or work, and their formation of friendships.  Only 10% of children and adults who need mental health treatment receive it.
